Good day everyone

I am new to this forum, and glad to be part of it! I bought a 2012 Stumpjumper FSR Comp earlier this year, and it is awesome!

One thing that I have noticed is that mud gets sprayed onto/into the rear linkages through the rear wheel. I dont mind getting sprayed by mud, but dont mess with my Stumpy!

So what I did is I designed a rear fender, I am a mechanical engineer by the way, to protect the linkage bearings both the top links and bottom pivot. Then I laser sintered the model in Nylon SLS, I have access to 3D printers etc.

I have attached some pics of the fender installed on my bike. I would like to see what the reaction is to this product. It is ridiculous for me to see that the fenders that one can buy, only protects the rider.

If I get many responses I would like to series produce these fenders. I can also tweak the design to work on all Specialized FSR suspensions, and later to fit the other FS bikes.

Excuse the photos, I snapped them last night after work.
