Heard there is a problem with the rear shock on the 940. Any comments ?

2014 model witll have Fox rear shock, 2013 and earlier models had DT shock which I have heard from a number of people should be upgraded as soon as you can. For Scott to change their 2014 bikes to Fox rear shock is a clear admission that their previous shock wasnt up to par with the competion.

 

2014 bikes will be more expensive due to axchange rate.

 

I would try and pick up a 2013 model somewhere if you can. Was going to get the Giant Anthem, but you will stuggle to find stock. I did see a large 2013 Anthem at Morningside Cycles in Sandton price was R23k discounted.

Doesn't matter if it's a 940, 920, or a 910, if it has a DT shock, the shock is crap.
