i have a bryton rider 40 and was looking through my settings and bike profiles, what exactly is the "wheel" setting for and what is it meant to be? the default is 2040mm?

Wheel circumference. Usually set to use with a speed sensor. It's optional if you use your bike on an indoor trainer..... so you can get an indication of distance while on the IDT. Or some people feel they prefer the speed sensor reading over the GPS speed. In my opinion. ..... use it if you have an indoor trainer. ...... if not. Stick with GPS

Use a tapemeasure

Use the valve as a marker, roll the wheel through 1 revolution .... measure from mark to mark .... you have you circumference. Or you can Google ir you tube it.

you dont need it...only if you use the speed sensor on an idt or something

Use the online owners manual and it lists pretty much exactly each wheel size even down to rims running 23 or 25 tyres.
