Does anyone have any experience with these bikes. A buddy is considering buying one and I don't know much about them.

Any comments about your experiences...?

Dus regtig n k@k furk, regig bottom of the barrel. Maar as n "starting bike" is dit seke rok, ek mean, we all have to start some were.

Rock Judy,.........throw away

XFusion rear shock,......throw away

You're going to spend another R4-5K on decent suspension for that bike.

may as well buy something new for around R8.5K or live on bread and water for a month and stretch to R10k

GL....do you reckon it's worth 2500 or 3000 bucks...?

The buyer hardly ever rides and just wants something cheap. Was looking at a cheap 2nd hand hardtail and somehow stumbled on this so asked me if it's worth it?

Thanks!

I guess for teh price it is worth it but I hear this story all the time.

The rider hardly ever rides blah blah and then they ride th cheap piece of crap they bought and they expect R40K bikeperformance and you get blamed for advising them to buy it.

Minty, I'd tell him the pitfalls of the bike and leave the decision up to him.

Ja....that's exactly what I did.

I had a look at it this morning. It's pretty neat, parts look decent. The wheels were rebuilt just before the guy stopped using it about 3yrs ago and the fork was also fitted brand new.

He's going to offer him 2.5k and see what he says.

Thanks for the feedback!
