But yes - This is an issue that is being looked into.

 

I doubt they will upgrade the tents to be waterproof. And besides, it is not just about how water proof the tent is, but how you put it up. Most stage races only have limited space so the tents get packed on top of one another and the flysheets not correctly put on.

Would love to do the event again. No, only did 2011. I did the Epic again this year. Maybe next year..... Will have to wait and see!
