Not sure if they're the same, but the SRAM PF30 bearings on my Mtb lasted all of 1200k's before they seized up completely. I'm going to order the Chris King ones to replace the current set unless anyone has a better suggestion.

Anyone got a price from a bearing manufacturer as Bearingman quoted me R184 per bearing excl vat,not exactly a bargain....?

Bearing Numbers are 6806-2RS

I paid R30.00 from bearing place on Voortrekker road.

I agree. I'm astonished at how short-lived BB30 bearings are. They're even worse than GXP, and that says a lot.

I'm now using serviceable BB-30 bearings. They have springclips holding in removable seals. I'm yet to get feedback on their life but I'm hoping for the best.

JB Where did you manage to pick those up?

Sounds like a good idea to me

I bought a set last week from a bearing place M Power 0215102047

160 Voortrekker rd Maitland.

I think they ordered them from JHB.

R228 including vat.

6806 2RS

S in the code I think is stainless

2 stands for 2 seals

I what i would recomend that you asked for japanese bearings.

They supplied me ntn bearings.

Anybody know were I can get a set of dust covers and the wavey spring washer.

Cheers

Dion
