I'm really hoping someone can help me out. I'm told by my LBS that I need a "Free Hub Spacer." There was some play in my free hub which resulted in sticky or jumpy gear shifts when applying pressure through a corner or the start of an attack or sprint.

Can anyone help me track one down? Or tell me where to look? Its a 17mm through axel on a Campagnola Eurus G3 wheel.

My LBS wants to order a new freebody at the cost of R1000. Seems an expensive way to fix a simple problem??

Stirling at Revolution Cycles just serviced my Eurus rear hub and did a great job. Perhaps they can help you (or give a second opinion)?

Also, what freebody do you need? I run SRAM on my bike and I have a never used Campag freehub in my shed.

Thanks Madlight. I'm running Shimano. Would your Freehub work with this?

Campy only runs Campy. SRAM and Shimano are interchangeable (they say). I have a used SRAM 10 speed free body as well, but I don't know exactly how well it will interface with Shimano.
