MichH Posted August 29, 2006 Share On Sunday we had mud up to our nostrils (I'm not kidding). But the Mule got a good clean when we got home. That's about all they need to get back out there! Re how you will feel riding in the rain, depends on your outlook to life. If you decide it's fun, it will be!
TitusTi Posted August 29, 2006 Share Just finished Trans Baviaans, rode the last 5 hours in the mud and the rain, was actually quite cool! Thing is, you must just relax and enjoy it. Think of it as a way to improve your handling skills, reflexes and balance.
Dicky DQ Posted August 29, 2006 Share Riding in the rain is OK, just keep your cheque book handy the mud eats drivetrains in a flash. Still it is quite a bit of fun if it's not too cold.
