Hi guys,

Could anyone give me some advice as to where in Johannesburg I could find a couple of cheap (second-hand?) rear wheels for use on the trainer? I would presume that if my current rear wheel has a 10-speed cassette, I'd need to have a 10-speed cassette on the training wheel? Anything else I should be wary of?

Thanks in advance!

Different wheels can fit differently/have the cassette fit differently.

Likewise, different cassette types (Shimano vs Sram) may fit differently.

This may require minor adjustments to the RD everytime you cange the wheel.

Hey bru,

The classifieds is a good place to start. Here is something: http://www.thehubsa....rimshimano-hub/

ITO the gearing, you would need a new/second hand ten speed cassette or take the current one off your racing wheels and use it on the indoor trainer. Best would be to get a second hand cassette (Campy or Shimano/SRAM?) and put it on your second hand wheel.

Thanks very much for your advice guys. Much appreciated.
