  1. I've enjoyed how Phil Liggett has called Jasper Stuyven Peter Styuven for three days straight, presumably confusing him with Peter Stuyvesant. Absolutely useless at his job.
  2. I can't wait. Thanks again Gerald for organising! Just one question - at the end of the Tour, do you only get points for the Overall categories for the 9 riders you end the Tour with, or all 12 riders in your squad? For example, if I have Froome in my team and he wins the race, but I substituted him out on the last rest day, do I get the 20 points for him winning the yellow jersey category?
  3. World Sports Betting, Betxchange and HollywoodBets are all South African bookmakers who offer great cycling betting, including match bets that pit riders against each other on every stage. They also all have good selections of outright betting. They usually go up the night before every TDF stage.
  4. Hi guys, I'm looking for a bike bag to use on my international travels, preferably without spending a fortune. I've read that soft bags may be better for flying than hard cases, but I'd like to hear what everyone thinks. Are there good deals out there? It's hard to find reviews on these, but three possibilites I've found that look interesting are the Coverworx Bag, the Sportsmans Warehouse Nylon Bag, and the Bikesafe case. Has anyone had experience with any of these? Thanks in advance!
  5. I'm very late to this, but I just want to thank you for the amazing work you put into the TDF competition. It was great fun, and I look forward to the Vuelta comp.
  6. I'm just reading it as "At the end of the Tour, how many survived breakaways was the rider in?", but I'm sure Gerald can clarify.
  7. As I understand the rules, 4 successful breakaways = 4000 points.
  8. Hi Gerald, There was a group of 27 out in front for nearly in hour before it split in two, leaving 9. Do the other 18 count as having been in a break? http://i59.tinypic.com/296lxcx.jpg
  9. Five riders in the lead with Sagan and Barguil Peter Sagan and Warren Barguil are two of the five leaders. BARGUIL W. SAGAN P. HUZARSKI B. CARUSO G. WEENING P.
  10. Cyril Gautier again on the offensive After ten kilometres, Cyril Gautier (Europcar) attacks again. He was a breakaway member yesterday.
  11. http://i62.tinypic.com/14mu99k.jpg Now for some of my lads to get into the second break of the day.
  12. Westra , Kwiatkowski, Jungels and Boasson Hagen in the first break of the day.
  13. Because up to 30 different riders can get green jersey points on any given day, and only 1 rider can get aggressive points. So those 19.1% of green jersey points are spread over a lot more riders over the Tour than the aggressive points are.
  14. Thanks. And presumably 2nd place if besso is still top?
  15. Thanks Admin! Just to clarify, will tomorrow's prize go to the person with the most points in the competition, i.e. the person on top of the FantasyTour leaderboard?
