Thanx for the info. I will have a look.

I will need it as a "daily diary" of activities. It will be an amazing tool to refute claims from the Contractor. Storage and saving the video data can be a problem as I suppose it can become quite large. One just need to determine a work method to ensure only the important issues are archived.

I currently have a very sticky issue of two contractors (ours is one) had the same end user client. The eternal fight has now ensued on who damaged the fuddup fence the client refuses to replace. I have been able to trace a DVD with some data but I must still view it. A daily diary video could have settled the issue.

Hi Oom

Yes, you would be able to query it with a date range as well as spatial boundary filters. You could probably make it a requirement that a site engineer submit a video every morning and afternoon on departure to proof the condition received/when done.

The storage is not so much of a problem (unless it is hours and hours of HD - we currently limit the length of a single video to be uploaded to 15 minutes), but for corporate users in SA one would probably talk about a local cloud/in-house server to make uploading/viewing etc. faster.

Any questions/issues let me know.

Use your iPhone. Enable tagging and upload into iPhoto os such. You really need to make it easier to use. Use Photosynth app to stitch panoramics. Could even do video if you really needed. I do this in a construction audit environment.

Iphone and Ipad can do exactly what you require. so does Samsung phone and tablet. Simply set GPS tag to on when using the camera app
