Just a question: I'm keen on upgrading my old MTB 26" to a 2012/2013 Scott Spark 29er.

Can I swop wheels between 27.5 and 29er for different trails/ rides??

if you have a 29er frame, you can obviously use smaller wheels, not vice versa.

Of course you can, but it would not be a good idea, the 29er frame was not designed to take smaller wheels, which means that your BB height will be too low.
