seven Posted January 11, 2014 Share May be not the best forum to ask, but I’m looking for a backpack to run with. Any suggestions? Perhaps some of the AR guys can help. Would like to use if for general running to gym etc. and a 40k (round trip) running commute to and from work once a week. Ideally something stable around the torso. The bag I currently use for my cycle commute just won't work.
MariusL Posted January 11, 2014 Share I use "Deuter". You can get them at Cape Union Mart. I have the 15/350 model, which is a nice size - not to big not to small. There are two clips (belts, whatever you call it) one ties across your chest (stops the straps from falling off your shoulders) and another around your waist (stops the pack from bouncing on your back). It also has a velcro hole thing (if you carry a camel back, or other hydration device) where the mouth piece comes through. A really cool design - I've had mine for close to 5 years, and it's still perfect... seven
R-squared Posted January 11, 2014 Share Camelbak Blowfish works very well. Expandable for bigger loads and snugs down very well for less cargo. Very comfortable and straps keep it stable. Has fluid reservoir built-in. Also works well for MTB excursions. Edited January 11, 2014 by R-squared seven
