Dgas Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 I have been riding and racing road bikes for years so this may seem a bit of a stupid question. Riding through the Cradle I see a lot of time trial bikes. I never see time trial races. Are these only used for triathlons? or are there races for these bikes? I would be interested in riding time trials and could convert one of my bikes into a time trial bike. I do not want to do triathlons as my knee prevents me from running.
nuge Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 lots of riders training on tri bikes down here in slaapstad at the mo - plenty of triathlons coming up and the sport appears to be gaining traction generally.
Thomo Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Most probably involved in tri/du-athlons, but yes there are also time trial champs and some of the stage race events also offer time trailling.
