Cycle Lanes in Brazil - Taking matters into their own hands.

Guerilla cycle lanes have sprung up all over the world. Perhaps it is time for South Africa to see the first one on our local roads. As a form of protest it could be very powerful, especially if it is done on a stretch of road where cyclists have been injured and killed a few times and where the authorities should have made a cycle lane long ago. If the media and cops get involved, the impact will be even greater. If nothing, cycle signs every 50 metres will make motorists more aware to be careful. Muizenberg to Kalk Bay comes to mind.
