One off cape town to cape point spin 120-130k last wk in april

Hi

Im Irish and I hope to do a one off loop 120k-130k from cape town to the point in the second half of April av speed approx 27 kph

Im eager to do this ideally with a group of local cyclists for all the obvious reasons.

I need to hire a decent bike and need advice as to where I can procure same.

Can share info on cycling scene in Ireland for anyone considering trip there

Road cycling scene may be going into a bit of a lull by then ... that's almost a month after the "world ameteur road championships", better known as the Cape Argus Cycle Tour.

But keep checking in on your thread, there's bound to be some still keen on a ride.

You could also try contacting some of the local clubs/groups ... some of them are listed on the Pedal Power Association.
