They all try that bollocks, do the quote , ok nice great Im happy lets go ahead with it, normally at that stage they mention there will be a R300 admin fee, with 2 different insurers I have at that point refused to pay the admin fee(basically expecting me to pay their operating expenses like credit check etc in a lump sum which is rubbish) failing which I don't want the cover from them. At that point they play the "let me ask the supervisor" line who invariably waives the fee. Great stuff.
