Got the nod to do the middle leg of Joberg2c (day 4-6) on a corporate freebie.

 

Sweet deal- entry, kit, service package, massage package etc.

They shuttle myself and my partner down from Sandton to Sterkfontein. At end of leg they shuttle us from Underberg to Maritzburg Airport. From here we are on our own wrt getting back to Pretoria.

 

My question:

 

Anyone ever flown too/from PMB?

Worried that we may be resorting to Airlink type planes, which could make transporting bikes an issue.

Also wondering how to have a box/bag lugged around.

 

Considering renting a car and driving back

 

Any thoughts?

Get a shuttle to Durban or rent a car to get to Durban? SHould be fairly cheap to rent a car for a couple of hours and drive the 100 odd km to the airport.
