  1. Am I correct that you need an ANT+ dongle to use Zwift with the Kickr still?
  2. Morning I have just under 4 weeks to train for the Great Zuurberg Trek and am very underprepared. Have done many stage races before, but the last 2 years very little riding. Did a 4 hour 75km MTB ride yesterday and felt pretty tired. So, how do I train in the next 3 weeks? Hard, how many days a week? What sort of intensity? Not too much? Its too late to make much improvement? Advice would be appreciated.
  3. Last time I did Breedts nek after a long break I was dissapointed to find the shebeen at the bottom closed and I only had 1 water bottle. Does anybody know if there is somewhere else near to the bottom to refuel?
  4. I use Trainerroad with my Wahoo Kickr, really enjoy it and find it very productive. I follow one of their training programs and find that gives me the extra motivation I need to get on the IDT.
  5. Great, thanks for the input. I will go past Melrose arch and have a look and hopefully pick one up...
  6. Is it easy to get going? I am not really experienced with things like FTP etc, although I have been riding for 15 years I am not really scientific. I would like to improve this though, but worry if I get the tranier I won't even know where to start, so will just ride it like a R2k trainer?
  7. I don't want to change gears, I am just assuming my 11 speed chain won't fit the 10 speed cassette. Am I incorrect?
  8. I see on the website it is not compatible with the sram xx1 cassette, does anyone know if there is a way to get it to work i.e. use another 11 speed cassette or any other alternative.
  9. What are you using to run the programs, a computer or an ipad?
  10. Anybody know where I can get a mount for my Ipad to attach it to the handlebars when using the Kickr? Sorry to move away from the topic, I also want to get one but that is something I would want with it.
  11. I got the BBB one from Sportsmans warehouse online, does the job and didnt break the bank.
  12. I would be buying it new, the tallboy 2 CC. It just seems all the complete bikes I could find on the internet had 120mm forks which got me worried.
  13. I want to buy a Tallboy, but I want to use my exisitng Fox fork, which is a 100mm travel fork? Has anybody ridden the bike with this fork and has it been ok?
  14. I changed my Sidi's for a wide pair of these and it has helped. http://www.shimano-lifestylegear.com/gl/fw/products/offroad/001sh_xc90.php?pSccontentsPro
