Lewyza Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Hi guys, Does anyone know where I can buy training wheels for a kids bike in Cape Town?My son (5) got a bike as a gift but I need to put on training wheels for him to learn how to ride his bike. Much appreciated for any info.
pista Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Forget about the training wheels. Take the crank and chain off and use it as a push bike.Kids learn much faster to balance a bike and get riding. Lexx 1

blacksmith Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I agree with pista. Training wheels a waste of time. More frustrating than anything. Teaches the wrong stuff. Got my kids a jd bug. They enjoyed it immensely. When they got on a real bike it was a natural transition. First push and and they were cycling
