Andyr249 Posted February 11, 2014 Share Hi gents,I know nothing about skating and need both my feet on the floor to stop from falling over, but what astounded me was the speeds that they are capable of. Wow, 130Km/hr down hill and averaging something like 60Km/hr round the "track" in the 5000m.Sarge Ummmm, speed skating is done on flat ice in a rink. No downhills there.
