3 Day Event: 67km, 62km and 58km (Saturday to Monday)2 Day Event: 67km and 62km (Saturday and Sunday)1 Day Event: 10km, 30km or 67km (Saturday) Cycle on trails and tracks through the Nature Reserve and see lion, buffalo, giraffe, wildebeest, elephant, rooibok, eland, rhino and many more. Part of your entry fees will go towards "save the rhino" fund. The Mountain Bike races will be on single animal tracks and jeep tracks in the Nature Reserve. The routes will go into river valleys and up onto the plateau while the animals are watching you. Nature Conservation guides will be strategically placed on the route.

Seems only 20 people finished last year when it was a 2 day event? Guys like Fritz needed 6 hours but luckily there are also guys (like me) that needed double that!

Last year the event was held at the Legends Golf and Safari resort, which is 60km further than Mabalingwe.

That could have been a factor as to why there were so few entries.

Anyone got information on accommodation for this race?

 

Camping sites are available at R120-00 per person participating in the event.

 

There are still studio apartments available at R1595-00 per day.

Not sure whether that is per person or for the unit.
