Fork-it Posted March 28, 2014 Share I am looking for inner tubes for our Chelino 3-wheel travel system.Normal 12'' tubes are not difficult to find, but these Chelino ones have a 90 degree bend in the valve for ease of inflating. I have emailed Chelino, waiting for response.Anyone knows where I can get?
Tumbleweed Posted March 29, 2014 Share You can get an adaptor for the valve that sits out at 90-degree angle. I think Weldtite make one. Will check at the bike shop tomorrow.
Vinnydabutcher Posted March 29, 2014 Share Hey Fork, I just dropped some B.A.T. seal in the tubes when I got it. We take the dogs to a park/field twice a week and no problems. Haven't had a single puncture yet. Hope that helps. I think you can actually get a solid tyre that you can fit on there - wont be as soft a ride but will work. Tumbleweed Posted March 31, 2014 Share Bad pic, but here's the adaptor from Weldtite. Costs R60.
Fork-it Posted March 31, 2014 Share Thanks all for the help.I found some inner tubes at Cajees in Centurion this weekend. @Vinney: B.A.T. seal?? Will sealant work, even if the wheels remain unused sometimes for a few days?
