Don't see why not - just get a trainer tyre too. Trainers often have adapters available too to fit different wheel sizes if needed.Will it damage my bike in any way? Not likely. Ysterperd Posted April 9, 2014 Share I would recomend an extra plain (cheap) rear rim fitted with a slick to replace your existing wheel when on the trainer. Using a trainer on knobblies will run your tyre down in no time. would not even borther fitting a rotor for the brakes, should not be more than R700 - 1000, worthwhile considering price of new tyre Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
