  9. Cannot speak as to KMC compared to Shimano or Sram but you should get much more than 1500 km from a chain on a 1x system
  10. Nope, just the opposite. No cross shifting so chain should lat longer

  12. Have to agree. Bike is weigthy, and will only frustrate your dearest. ThT being said, does she really really want to join you. A couple of us have gone down this road just to end up with an albatros hanging in the gararge

  17. Personal choice and comfort is my answer. That being said started off years ago on 640; On converting to 29er switched to 700; then 720. Got a 760 and that was to wide for me and i had it cut to 720 - my happy medium
  18. Sounds to me as if it is an adjustment issue to higher and lower limits. May be some cable tension as well. Pop in at your local LBS, they will sort you
  19. My 10cents worth - had both. Eggbeaters/candy require regular service and the wire holding mechanism tend to bend on rock hits. Spd much sturdier, less maintenace and better retention
  20. Depending whether they have an offset chamfered edge. If they are plain, then the odds are good but as soon as they have an angle to them chanches are slim that they would stock them.
