Benoni Group cycling

Hi I enjoy my mtb riding or road cycling and I live in Rynfield but don't know anyone to join in a club or group , I'm still very new to it but really want a team to help with training and to join races etc anyone know of people I can join?

I have been riding out of Benoni for 7 years and can offer some assistance. Unfortunately, not too much going on for newbies.

We have been developing a MTB track in the Benoni Country Club. It is fantastic for skill development and fitness and is a very safe environment and of course very close for you.

Myself and a friend do some rides at modderfontein and want to try out benoni country club, we're also doing quite a few races. I'll add you as a friend and drop you a PM when we head out again. Will just be a while he's busy with exams. And we're still quite slow

If you can get to Cyclelab in K90 there is a MTB group leaving 6:30am Saturday catering for all levels, ride to Emperors and then do laps so you can go at your own pace and do as many laps as you feel and BCC is also very good option

 

There are other MTB groups such as BP but they are not newbie friendly as they are quite racy and require a good ave speed.

If it is Mtb you are riding(as per your profile) there is Benoni country club that you can ride in safety any day of the week, There is a regular ride every Thursday night(not sure how many are still riding in the cooler weather) from 18:30, you would require a light to join as it is quite dark in the forest
