Super frame. Bought a frame from Deale and Huth in 1989 (if I remember correctly). White and red combination. Very nice frame for racing. Columbus tubing was as good if not better than Reynolds tubing. It was a bit more ridgit the way I remember but it was also so many years ago.

Then it was stolen during a burglery in 1991.

Thanks for sharing

Daccordi - Poor Mans Colnago, or not. Daccordi started in 1937 by Guiseppi Daccordi and was taken over by his son Luigi Daccordi who still runs it with his daughter. Check out their website for more info (you will need to translate the pages) www.daccordicicli.com

The built with Columbus tubing. I bought my frame in 1995 and still ride it today and prefer it to my Aluminium/ Carbon Raleigh. Nothing beats the Italian Stalion.

The purists will have my hide for this but mine runs on Shimano components

Columbus SLX tubing, top stuff back in the day.

Hey Cybercrow, a great bike. I have one very similar, except in the purple/pink colour. I bought mine new in 1986, I think, with full Campag Athena groupset. I still have it, look on the Retro bike thread for pics.

The bike looks about to be between 85 and 87, given the exposed cable guide along the top tube, the 2 water bottles and the sloping fork crown. Sometime after 87, cables were internal (I have one of those too). Prior to around 85, fork crowns were square, non-sloped, and there was one bottle cage.

Have a look on the top of the BB, you might find something stamped on there, like UNO, or something. Also check to see if there's a small decal on the top tube that says 'Frame nickel Plated', or words similar.

Definitely worth keeping and restoring.

As DJR wrote, pin it to the Retro thread, quite a few Dacc fundis there.

Good luck with it.
