brianj Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 Looking through the results, there are results for only about 400 teams in the adventure and about 450 teams in the race. I thought about 550 teams started each race...Did that many people bale? Or is there another reason?
linnega Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 That many people bailed, I imagine. I believe 550 teams took the start on each of the days. A good few crashed out and I think some took another route to the finish on day 2 (ambulance, helicopter, sagwagon). Some returned for day 3 as "unofficial" competitors.
