sorry couldn't make it, sounded interesting...been to the dumps in my off-road days and that soft mine dump sand was a disaster, so fine and getting everywhere and quickly turning to grinding paste for my off road. how does your MTB fair? im guessing good maintenance before and a PROPER clean and lube STRAIGHT after a ride ??? Would be keen to do a ride, probably early June if you go again, this sat doing Modderfontein then week thereafter is Nissan Trailseeker Cullinan
