  1. Any idea what happened to the 'caveman'? Ran past him about the 2km mark...withdrew for what reason?
  2. my two pomeranians...Afro & Bouncer... 3years i ago i swore i would never get a small dog...always had bull terriers and loved them... then these guy's came along and crept into my heart... man i wouldnt change them for anything right now...
  3. I cant really figure out a system like the swat specialized set-up...so the bottle cage on the seat post has a 2no. bomb holder and im gonna put my cylindrical plastic tool kit holder in that cage...tried the saddle bag and it just doesnt last... any other idea's for a proper tool kit/storage option...?

Picked this beauty up today...very stoked.. Rory from Ridgeway was very helpful and excellent service and advice...good LBS 4shore!!!
  5. Very chuffed...and lots of black...
  6. rode on monday morning sparrows and it was still there...chilliing and eating of course...grass must be sweeter or something?!
  7. Wow...i was completely finished yesterday...did the full in batch C 35-39 AG (sub-vet) in 3:13. Defn struggled on the MTB the most...the heat and lack of fluids made it worse. Need to do some hot weather training + lift the intensity. Otherwise it was a fantastic day out...cant wait for the next one.
  8. For all of the SAS events I always collect my goody bag on the morning of the race. always super efficient...no need to go especially to cycle lab/torqzone etc just to register unless its on your way during work etc... p.s. i suggest wear a hat on the run...that big ball of fire in the sky wont take any prisoners...
  9. I wouldnt say you HAVE TO go with a bib but...ive done all my training and the last event of last years series with bib shorts...and it works perfectly well ! Tips...dont underestimate the run after the cycle. Transition, take your time and make sure you have everything when you leave...laces are done for running, running hat, taken on some more fluids etc. forgetting something at transition coz you wanted to be 10sec quicker is a real frustration... enjoy it!
  10. Wednesday night would suit me much better than the thursdays... svm3000, is this true ???
  11. rode this morning and track is really good, flowing hard packed and after the rain some good grip, 1 or 2 muddy sections but no drama. only thing is the growth on the edge of the track needs a cut desperately. some places hard to see ahead the track the growth is that thick. but as many have said before me and long that it may continue "great job"... cheers
  12. Ridgeway Cycles in Stoneridge Centre, just around the corner from Greenstone Edenvale. Contact Rory 0741705139, very helpful.
  13. Did the half for the last event of last year and really enjoyed it. Wish i had heard of it earlier. Will try my utmost to do all 4 events this year and this time entering the full. Been working on my running, that run after the bike is not to be underestimated yoh
