Considering to convert my 26er to tubeless.

Question, which tyres should I get? I enjoy single track and technical riding but alas want to also have speed on the jeep track.

Anyone know of any good deals/sales in the Cape Town Stellenbosch area? All the tyres all seem to be 500rand or more per tyre. Yikes!

When it comes to 26er tubeless tyres, I really like the Maxxis Aspen Exception Series. I ran them on my 26er, and know 3 others also using them in a tubeless configuration. They go for around R300 to R350.

Some people are weary of them because they are light and have thin sidewalls, but I've never had an issue.

Same is said about the Racing Ralph Tubeless readies I have on my Silverback. They survived the rocks at the monster, not sure I'll ever see worse sidewall peril than that. Plus I got them on sale for R199 a tyre.
