masterj Posted May 31, 2014 Share Hi. At today mtb my front derailleur decided to only shift between 2 and 3rd. On the dail it shows 1st and 2nd. I noticed that the cable was loose. TopFuel Posted May 31, 2014 Share Watch these videos, and try what they suggest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJB1L6gj4nI Essentially, its a matter of getting reasonable tension in the FD cable, setting the upper and lower limit screws and then fine tuning the shifting with the barrel adjuster.
