Moenie verwag om sulke jumps die eerste keer te clear nie. Ek net die jumps by thaba probeer clear op my eerste Downhill outing, kom ons se dit het nie goed uitgedraai nie ek so hard geval dat ek die bike moes verkoop het want my ouers het gese dis te gevaarlik... Ek wil nou eers bietjie jumps oefen op my ou BMX net om die gevoel te kry, ek het gehoor daar is bag jumping in Johannesburg, ek wil dit gaan uittoets na die eksamen ek wil nie skryf met 'n gebreekte arm of iets nie...

 

Laat weet my indien jy ook iets mal te doen, miskien join ek...

@ 4:33 - was that a freakin rodeo flip? madness, these guys are going huge!

 

to the OP - start with more manageable drops and little kickers that boot you more out than up (think ski slope)

once you are more comfortable,start building up to bigger and steeper jumps with gaps etc...

 

Visualisation helps me a lot with scarier jumps. elbow & knee pads help the confidence as well.

 

Start small and don't bite off more than you can chew...
