Helmet safe Glue

Hi

 

I need to glue the hard shell part of my helmet back onto the foam. 

 

Countless school projects have taught me that some glue will melt the foam.

 

anybody know what glue will work?

I have previously bought glue specifically made for bonding polystyrene together (kids school projects!) - maybe that will work? Got it at the hardware store. Maybe try a little on a spot of the foam and see if it reacts.
