Route Description: Difficulty Rating: 0. Route Type: Circular This course is hard and hilly, yet scenic. The finish venue is on the picturesque farm Avondzon. Set in the foothills of the Drakensberg, this is a ride well known for its spectacular scenery and brutal hills. The race takes place exclusively on gravel roads; you will find the first quarter a moderate ride. The second and third quarters will prove more demanding with some challenging hill climbing; but have faith; what goes up must come down. The last quarter of the ride is mostly downhill.
