Hey Guys

We riding from Parklands Planet Fitness leaving at 7AM on saturday 20th September.

We will have a stop in Darling for coffee/snacks/whatever.

Because it is a flat ride only some rollers down the westcoast road we want to keep the average over 30.

The weather is clear for saturday so we should be treated to a pretty awesome view of the flowers too I recon.

We want to practice rotating pacelines for the DC, So that will also ensure that the pace is nice and quick.

Here is the route:

Anyone good for the distance is more than welcome to join

LOL ... I cant make it, but its not a flat ride ;)

Rollers on the N7, but the bumps around Darling are going to catch you out a bit.

The West Coast express is going to be very hard this year if there is any wind.

Lol. Maybe I should say flatter than normal ride....

We on the R27 not N7  :whistling:

The route does have 700meters of climbing. But for 140km that is very little. Our 60km club ride out to malangshoogte and back has the same amount of climbing.

I do agree with you! If the SE is pumping on that day of the race then this could be one of the hardest races out there. It will be 60km into a wall.  :cursing:

The wind for tomorrow is just a light breeze so its going to be very lekker out there.

Almost 1000 meters of climbing it ended up being.

When the SE pickup up it was literally as hard as climbing a 60km hill.

If the SE blows this year, the WCE is going to be very tough.

I really hope they have a big vehicle to pickup all the bail outs.
