The storm looks to be a little better specced, but is half a kilo heavier if the respective manufacturers are to be believed. Mostly in the frame,I suspect. The Scott would be the option to go for if you are planning a few upgrades later anyway The weak point on the Scott is the rims ~ very light but not robust. The stans rims on the storm are probably a little better. In both cases race day wheels if you are big though. Get something sturdier to train on. What sort of price difference are you looking at?
sustan Posted October 11, 2014 Author Posted October 11, 2014 Thanks for the info...im only 83kgs but pretty rough on rims. Il see if I can get a demo on both and see how they feel, will be buying second hand in the 20-25k range
