Musketeer Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Well... if I read through the rants and raves I have to say that the incidents... even the ones we experienced were few and far between in comparison to a huge commercial race. Have to say 99% of the riders that passed me wheezed out a "thanks" or "dankie" or "shot bru" and I also tried the same when I passed.... the odd 1% was completely out of breath or I was too tired to take offence. All and all I think it was an awesome event and in general I think all did it in the right spirit... riding our bikes as hard as we can, make new friends.... and rail the single track from the first tag point, sitting behind a guy at night who's light blew out, helping him to get down safely... this is what the sport is all about. Never forget that.
