Chainset help

Hello all

 

I'm returning to the sport of MTB after a break of 10 years and need some help regarding chainsets.

 

I've hauled my old Giant ATX MTB out of the garage and am cleaning it up for my first ride. The issue is I need to replace the chainset (triple) as the teeth are worn and my chain is slipping off under pressure. I've browsed around online to try to find the correct parts, but am mystified at the variety available. Ideally, I want a triple set of Shimano SLX chainrings. Currently, I have SLX cranks attached to the chainset (4 bolt version, 9 speed I think). Can someone please point me in the right direction.

Best to remove the rings and take them into a shop that stocks a variety of spares (Solomons, Linden).  They should be able to match them.
