Hi All - wow, lots of interest!  We are definitely going to do a run of 15mm and 20mm - the costing isn't bad - not as cheap as I had hoped, but still way better than R700!  We also did a proper test on the one we made on the weekend and it worked fine.  If we don't sell them, then its at least a good exercise for the apprentices in cost of sales vs. selling price - something they don't teach at school!

 

Bad news is that we won't be doing it this year unfortunately - we shut on the 11th, and our main business is to keep the Mines working, so our Production Manager isn't going to be impressed if I grab one of his CNC's to make bicycle parts!
