The race comprises of an average of 65km per day and over 6 days it leads riders through breath-taking scenery, endless mountains, scenic valleys and remote villages of the Kingdom in the Sky. The latest additions to the race is the 24km urban time trial course twisting through the streets, suburbs and finest trails of the capital Maseru on the 1st day. The Lesotho Sky is going into it’s 5th year and is a UCI accredited race since 2013 and hosts both amateur and professional teams. By participating in the event you will support cycling sport in Lesotho as well as our community projects. Out of a total field of 60 teams there will be 7 teams from Lesotho. They train hard and qualify each year for this race. Their costs are fully sponsored and they are in it to improve stage racing skills as well as to show their talent to the world.
