Hope you have been for that snip with all the riding.... otherwise you are NOT safe... :)

Please be advised - you must lie on your back and let her do all the work until you are 100% recovered...

It only increases the wifes frequency.... performance is unlikely to change, but enthusiasm levels might increase....

Yes - it will be back though - give it a while.... :) It always comes back as you get older...

My toes still get numb after Jozi2kozi

Usually this relates to your shoe size being a tiny bit small - if your toes bump agains the front it happens - and takes a long time to recover - maybe a year.....

Foot comfort is also helped by some of the better heat moulded inserts available from the pro bike fitters these days - makes a big difference to foot comfort - but at the risk of making your existing shoes even tighter.

Thanks for that advice, I have since changed to Sidi wide with moulded inserts but may have to go a size bigger if I do any stupid long rides again.

Yup - I used size 42 sidi's for many years - never had an issue on a one day ride.... BUT.... so now I use 43's - much more comfortable.

Few years back, I had a spinal disc removed. To this day, I still have below-the-knee numbness, and Restless Leg syndrome on the opposite leg. The restlessness only occurs when I stop cycling for more than a few days. I frequent my physio once a month which helps alot too. The spine is king. Don't mess with it!
