Ham Posted February 12, 2015 Author Posted February 12, 2015 without pics its hard to comment. I have noticed that some prefer a rise angle of more than 6% to try and get the bars as low as possible. A very low rise combined with flat bars and a very low cut steerer tube could all contribute to your problem. The stem is pretty short and the rise is normal. I have added spacers to the bottom of the stem to raise the bars but still no luck. I even converted to shift grips. This improved the situation but the break levers still don't clear even though I have them at an uncomfortable angle.
