Recycling bombs

Hi all. Can one recycle the CO2 bombs? If so where?

Recycle, yes scrap metal is big in these parts;

 

Re-fill and re-seal?  wouldn't think so on grounds of cost (and maybe safety); but am here to be proved wrong.

Would my lbs take them or do I have to find a scrapyard?
