Cliffster Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Hi all Just getting into riding mainly for fitness and to lose weight.... Go to Modders and Huddle on most weekend.... But only riding on weekends not helping with the fitness I am hoping to achieve. Have been out to do road rides a few times but not motivating myself to get out enough..... So just having a feeler to see if there is anyone in a similar position that we could potentially motivate each other? I tend to do a 20km round trip thru Sandringham, past Giloolies up thru Bruma and back into Obs...... If someone's keen on a riding partner and you don't expect to much then gimme a shout? Cheers!
HappyMartin Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 I live in the area but to be honest I don't think it will be so easy to find someone who wants to do 20km. There is a club that rides from Edenvale which is not so far but they are doing 80 to 100km

scotty Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 80 - 100km on MTB?.....that's impressive!Even on road 80 to 100km takes 2.30 - 3.00 hours starting at 4am that still means only finishing at 6:30am earliest. Very impressed if they do it daily but at 6.30am I've been at the office a while already.
