The Karkloof Valley in KwaZulu-Natal is home to one of South Africa's top riding destinations. Over 200km of trail spread from the Karkloof Country Club out through the Sappi Forestry area, forming a network of unreal MTB riding experiences. The Sappi Karkloof MTB Festival has developed over the last 21 years into one of the top race weekends on the South African calendar, taking place in 2015 from the 8th of May to the 10th of May.

The unique Peri 20km Night Race takes place on Friday the 8th, the absolutely epic Stihl Enduro on Saturday the 9th and the main events take place on Sunday the 10th with the Sappi Karkloof 60km Marathon, the aQuellé 40km 1/2 Marathon, the aQuellé 20km family ride and the aQuellé 10km kids ride.

I have entered the 60km marathon and see there is a map now on the website, but I cannot see any profile with the amount of climbing there will be, does anyone know how many meters of upward travel there is for the marathon ...... ;-)
