  1. I thought I was the only one....... I placed an order 13 Oct, phoned in 2 days later to try get the tracking number that was mentioned in the order confirmation e-mail. Left messages but no return call. Phoned again and was promised I would be called back the next morning with feedback. By lunchtime I called in again and left another message. By the 23rd (10 Days later) still no call back or update on my order. I sent an unpleasant e-mail and the following day received a call saying two thirds of the items I ordered are out of stock...... I am not surprised they are out of stock if you take 10 days to pick the stock! I was offered mix 'n match alternatives but just wanted my money back and bought from another online store that seems to have their act together. Really disappointed with the whole experience and can see why some companies are market leaders and others trundle along.
  2. If its the middle finger that's broken and you ever get his details, you should send him a pic of it.... All the best on the recovery of both body and bike!
  3. It takes around 30 secs to pair your hr strap to the watt bike and another 30 secs to pair your phone, 1 min admin is worth an hour of distraction to me. Give it a try... Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  4. Hi Renier, I found that using the watt bike app not only keeps my mind busy trying to keep power consistent on the graph, hr in the right zone and cadence where it should be, but also ensures I get the most out of each session. I have attached a screen shot of watt it looks like. No boredom when doing a challenging workout! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  5. It was good fun! Would have liked a smaller sprocket on the back for more top end and as Stretch mentioned some suspension would have been lekker for the bumpy stuff.... But overall enjoyed it thoroughly! Thanks to all involved. [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  6. I down / up (graded) my new bikes groupset from 2x11 to 1x11. Went 34 front and 46 back. So far really enjoying it, I wouldn't mind getting myself a 36 when one comes available on the Hub... ????. My LBS was telling me about an E-Thirteen 9-46 upgrade kit. Compatible with Shimano if you change your freebody. Relatively expensive initially but thereafter you can replace sprockets individually or in groups as opposed to complete cassette? I might consider looking at this when my current cassette gets tired...? . Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks Gents, SS it is then! Looking forward to it, see you out there on the trail! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  8. Hi Face Plant, Any idea on what the total ascent will be on the 70? I did it on my SS a few years ago when it started near the Lido and loved it, just want to make sure I am not making a school boy error riding it in the SS again with the route change? (NB - I checked the map but couldn't see any profile/ ascent figures) Thanks
  9. Does anyone know of MTB Trails around Zinkwazi? Thanks Justin
  10. Lucky you, my order still shows as "processing ". I can't wait to get my hands on my new gear!
  11. After battling for over and hour to get a few items into the basket, then another 1/2 hour to get to the payment part, the website not only kicks me out, but empties my basket..... That is like fighting other patrons in a shopping mall to get your basket filled, then waiting in a long queue and then when you get to the till they confiscate what is in your basket and give it to some-one else :-( I phoned in to ask if they could complete my order and they say they can't, I must try the website again. Happy to say my Re-order went through and accepted payment - so I should be getting my goods soon!
  12. Thanks for the advice, now doing the back and forth at every step....
  13. I eventually got my goods in the basket but now I cannot process payment....
  14. My trusty SS in the surroundings it enjoys.....
  15. We will be at Van Gaalens tomorrow morning at 07:00 at said reed section for a moment of silence........ and then we are hitting the trails!!!!
