Whats up fellows mountain goats

I have been eying this ride for a while, but what put me off is that they mention the following:

"The route offers challenge and reward for experienced riders as well as weekend warriors and riders looking to attempt their first MTB stage race.

(Note:Riders looking to do their first stage race does not mean new to mountain biking in general. Riders need to have some mountain biking experience and have done a 40km MTB race or more!)

More or less 55% of the daily route is on open gravel roads or jeep tracks, with a good combination of flat, rolling hills and one or two steeper climbs. 45% of the daily route is single track, cattle paths or naturally eroded tracks. The terrain is mostly hard rock formation and few loose gravel sections. (No crazy stuff, just mother nature providing us with some fun tracks and trails!)"

This appear very easy and maybe even slightly boring. However, a fellow rider actually informed me after riding this event that it is actually very technical, which I prefer.

Has anyone ridden this event and can you please give some feedback. How is the food and race vibe and route etc?

This would be much appreciated.

Cheers
