I recently bought a CAAD5 frame from a buddy, but the only thing is, the handlebars are a bit to low, I probably need to raise it about 1cm. What can I do to remedy this as the steerer was cut to his exact specs?????  This is causing some discomfortOuchOuchOuchOuch zues-zues2008-04-02 09:01:55

1. See if you can get a fork in the same colour

2. Get a stem that's got a steep angle

3. get an BBB extention

4. get a cool new Time or Easton form

Dont try any homemade remedies or "special" adaptors. Be safe and buy a new fork. Or if you dont mind looking silly, get a high rise stem.

A new fork is probably the best bet or maybe another BBB
