Hi Guys

Taking a chance here, anybody has lying around or knows of any 20mm adapters for the DT Swiss 350 hub about?

I called the dealer, they have to order in with a 4-5 week wait :(

Any suggestions, PLEEEEEEEEEEEEZE?

Cheers

Its funny, since the previous agent lost the agency for DT Swiss the brand has taken a real nose dive on the local market...and the reason the previous agent "lost" it? - because the service wasn't up to scratch...according to the people who had to wait a whole 2 days for a fork service or a wheel rebuild...

I say "lost" as he didn't loose it - it got taken away by a bigger company that promised DT they could do a better job and sell more product...

I dare you to get a DT fork or shock serviced now!

If memory serves me correctly, that particular hub is not convert-able, I seem to recall having had a similar issue when I was running a workshop in a bike store and asking the same thing, the then agent told me that you were not able to convert these 350 hubs...That is probably why you were told that you would have to wait for so long, because they don't know and don't care about two non-existent end caps. If they were knowledgeable about the product they import and sell, they would have told you this up front...

IMHO, scrap the DT Swiss unit (not because its poor quality but because of the poor back up) and buy a Hope hub or something similar that can be converted easily.

Hi SkinnyOne

Thanks for the frank advice, my best bet will probably be to break down an old wheelset and take the

20mm Zee hub and re-lace.... Not ideal but most cost effective?

Cheers
